If AUKU is Act 30, what is Act 174?
Students of public universities in Malaysia are aware of Act 174. It’s been drilled into our heads since we entered university. Many cite Act 174 as AUKU. Akta Universiti dan Kolej Universiti/Universities and College Universities Act. Only there is one small problem. A teeny-weeny little problem… How can Act 174 be AUKU if AUKU is Act 30? Then what is Act 174? This Act may be cited as the Educational Institutions (Discipline) Act 1976 (Section 1, Act 174). While this act does not apply to Universities-at-large. Guess which institute is listed as No. 1 in the First Schedule (Institutions to which this act is applicable).
Institut Teknologi MARA. Know known as Universiti Teknologi MARA! lol.
I’m not opposing this. I’m just stating the facts.
For my partisan and social friends, please, read on:-

Tense Supreme Council Meeting…
The UMNO Supreme Council meeting passed the 4th Hour. How long will it last? What do you think? (Source: NST) With the results of the 12th General Election lingering in the atmosphere, Prime Minister Abdullah Hj. Ahmad Badawi faces his most trying Supreme Council meeting. We can only imagine what pressure the 6th President of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) is enduring. Will the meeting conclude before prime time news?
Wisdom of the King of the Jungles in Shah Alam!

Good news for you in or near Shah Alam!
Imagine the majestic king of the forest. Reclined, protecting its domain. Alert to every sound nearby. Ever vigilant to danger, ready to act when necessary. So you can watch over your domain, yourself and your loved ones. Like the tiger, you act only when you need to.
You wont pounce onto others. Certainly you would not go cannibal and devour your enemies. Just imagine, being able to protect yourself and your loved ones. Introducing the Kuntau Jasa Harimau…
Berani kerana Benar, Takut kerana…
There’s a Malay saying that goes: berani kerana benar, takut kerana salah. Rather hard for me to find an English equivalent. But the meaning is this: why would one be afraid if one has no fault? This have been tested true over and over again. Unless you’re extremely good, you would not be able to cover up your naughty acts. After all, how do you defend guilt before truth?
A Senior’s Entry…
I am obliged to include an entry made by my senior, Aznyda Yaakub (Friendster Profile, Blogger Profile), here. She is currently in her final semester doing the Bachelor of Legal Studies (Hons.) programme in Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia. This outspoken future lawyer harbours ambition to join the Atorney-General’s Chambers. She was the President of the Students’ Representative Council Secretariat in the Faculty of Law while I was the Deputy Head for Academic Affairs. Needless to say, I’m not her favourite. Somehow I have a problem with sucking up to people. Sad, isn’t it? Focus your reading on the 6th paragraph of her entry. It’s about me.
I actually thought she had forgotten about me…
My Mini Transcript As Of March 26, 2008.
Apparently I forgot to disclose my results for quite a while now. While I was in Pre-Law, I’d do this in my Friendster Blog. Unfortunately, it’s deleted over a year ago. Didn’t know I could transfer the provider. Here are the results:
